BMS Pension Scheme Chair (voluntary role)

BMS World Mission is looking to recruit a new Chair for the BMS Pension Scheme Board to join from October 2017.
 
The Board includes directors nominated by the employer, members and pensioners. We have a strong committee with a wide range of skills and experience, and proactive scheme advisers.  This role is ideal for someone with leadership skills, interest and some practical experience of working in pension matters, but specialist knowledge or pension qualifications are not necessary. The Board meets four times a year, and members are occasionally involved in specific pieces of work. The chair will liaise with the staff team and occasionally with advisors between meetings. The role is voluntary with no remuneration; however, all reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed. Terms of reference for the role can be found below.
