Transforming lives on four continents

Goodbye V See ya soon

Posted by Sarah McArthur at 08:37 on 9th December 2013

I have never been any good with goodbyes. It’s not a word that I like to say and it’s a word that I have had to use a lot since my childhood. This week marks the end of my study time at IMC and already this word has begun to creep up in conversation. I have had an amazing time here and learnt so much. But the biggest joy has been the friendships I have made. My 9 other MT’s that have studied alongside me have been the most loving and kind people I could ever have asked for. We have learned together, prayed together, laughed and even cried together. I also can’t leave out the fantastic lecturers who have inspired me, encouraged me and taught me so much even in this short time. Thank you to all of you.

We have had lessons in ‘how to say goodbye’ and yet the words see ya soon ring in my head. This is not the end but an amazing beginning. So on Wednesday I will be saying see ya soon to my new friends who will be heading out around the world and asking God’s blessing upon them. My thanks to all who have supported me here at IMC and to you all I say…..

See Ya Soon
