Joy in Peru

In May I had the privelege of visiting Peru, our team there and the various national workers whom we support (Support Partner Workers - SPW). One particularly joyful occasion was visiting El Puente Baptist Church's mission projects in Cusco:

When the church missioner left a couple of years ago, Pastor Amilcar, the SPW who followed on from Scott Williamson, asked permission to use the grant to resource volunteer missionaries instead of employing another SPW missioner.

This creativity has resulted in children's clubs in three different neighbourhoods, in addition to the social project which already was running in the main church building. These children's club are drawing church members close to the families and are potential new church groups.
